My first blog. My bags are packed and I only have a few more to put in my red alero. I leave home on Saturday. I CANNOT wait to see my family! It's weird to think that I will not be able to drive a couple of hours to see their faces in a few short weeks. It hasn't really hit me that I will be leaving for FIVE months. That is a very long time in my book. The longest I have been away where I did NOT have an option what so ever to come home was my trip to Hawaii in tenth grade for a week and my trip to Spain in eleventh for two weeks. For some reason I am just super excited. It might be because I will be completely on my own and independent. When I was little I loved to bug my brothers and try to fit in with them and play video games. I look at this experience as a level in my life that i have to beat. It's kind of a challenge and I can't wait to press the start button!
